ISTAKO Insulators with a Steel Spring

Suitable for elastic support of fans, compressors, pumps, air compressors, diesel/gas/electric engines, diesel generators, turbines, mills, grinders and other machinery and equipment. Our assortment of steel spring insulators is divided into support, self-recovering, support recovering, suspension and PSP insulators.

The functional part of ISTAKO spring steel insulators consists of one or more steel springs placed in a casing made of cast metal, plastic or steel profiles.

Support Insulators

Available in a cast metal or plastic casing with the bottom part designed for anchoring. The bottom part is padded with a slotted rubber spring. The available product lines are P40, P60, P70 and P80.

Provided with a casing welded out of steel profiles and equipped with an axial clamp allowing elastic mounting on mobile platforms such as ships and train cars. The available types are P9.1, P22.1, P26.1 and P28.1.

Additional options include support insulators with casing welded from steel profiles. These products are identified as PT1.1 and PT3.1.

Self-Recovering Insulators

The insulator, provided with a cast metal casing, is sold under the designation SMZ 20.

The design of the SZ line has a casing welded from profiled steel. The elastically mounted element is lifted into the operating position by releasing the pre-stressed spring.

Support Recovering Insulators

Supplied in casings welded from profiled steel. The elastically mounted element is lifted in to the operating position by releasing the adjusting screws. Designation: PZ.

Suspension Insulators

The casing is welded from profiled steel. The elastically mounted element is lifted into the operating position by gradually tightening the rod nuts. Designation: Z.

Suspension Recovering Insulators

The casing is welded from profiled steel. The elastically mounted element is lifted into the operating position by gradually releasing the pre-stressed springs and by tightening the rod nuts. Designation: ZZ.

A surface treatment is applied to the cast metal casings, the steel profiles and the springs. The life span of the insulators depends on their type and method of use. Packaging depends on the type and size of the device. The insulators can be loose-packed in cardboard boxes, wooden boxes or shipping crates. Larger types can be loosely loaded into the shipping vehicle. Our insulators are stored in a well-protected and closed area where they are protected from corrosion, aggressive environment and dirt. The SMZ, SZ and PT insulators may not be stored or shipped in multiple layers.
