ISTAKO documents

The operation of industrial equipment and machinery creates different types of vibrations and shocks. All of these physical phenomena are transmitted to surrounding construction. The actuating forces originate either in the actual mechanical part of the machine (crank, gear, etc.), as a result of operations in general (e.g. a drop hammer) or they can be caused by poorly balanced or worn out rotating parts (e.g. fans).

If the cause of vibrations cannot be eliminated, the only solution is elastic mounting of the equipment.

ISTAKO vibration insulators will help you to:

  • Reduce the transmission of vibrations to buildings (cracking of floors and walls)
  • Reduce the noise level of the working environment
  • Extend the lifespan of your tools and equipment
  • Reduce the cost of building foundations (drop hammers, cutting devices, etc.)
  • Reduce the cost of assembly and maintenance and increase the productivity of equipment
  • Be able to place sensitive instruments and equipment near the sources of shocks and vibrations

The ISTAKO insulators used for flexible mounting are offered in several product ranges of different sizes and designs:

ISTAKO Steel Spring Insulators

Suitable for elastic mounting of fans, compressors, pumps, air compressors, diesel/gas/electric engines, diesel generators, turbines, mills, grinders and other machinery and equipment. Our assortment of steel spring insulators is divided into support, self-recovering, support recovering, suspension and PSP insulators.

ISTAKO Rubber Spring Insulators

Suitable for elastic mounting of machining and shaping equipment, transformers, etc. Our rubber spring insulators are available as an annular rubber spring or as a rubber slotted spring placed in a cast iron housing.

ISTAKO PVT Insulators

Used to mount equipment that is a source of impact, equipment producing critical rotation speed or the special mounting of equipment in tectonically active locations. Designed as an elastic mounting with silicon based vibration dampeners.

ISTAKO insulators can be used in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, with a maximum relative humidity of 85%. The basic color finishing is green. Additional colors are available upon request. The P40 and P60 lines that come in a plastic case are available only in black.
